# Create your account and your first funnel

To create your first funnel, sign up with an email and a password, choose a plan (Free works), then press Create Funnel. Name it, and choose how to build it: describe your offer and let the AI plan it, start from a ready-made template, or open a blank canvas. You can also start on the home page before you have an account.

- **Time needed:** About 15 minutes for a first draft
- **Plan:** Any plan, including Free
- **You need:** An email address and a short description of what you sell

## Create your account

1. Go to [sofunnels.com/register](https://sofunnels.com/register) and enter your email address and a password of at least 8 characters.
2. Choose a plan. **Free** needs no card and is enough to build and test a funnel. Choose **Basic** or **Pro** when you are ready to take payments. [Compare the plans](https://sofunnels.com/guide/plans-and-billing).
3. You land on your dashboard. From here, open **Funnels** and press **Create Funnel**.

> **Good to know:** confirming your email address is only needed for the AI features. Everything else works straight away, and soFunnels will remind you to confirm when you first use AI.

## Or start before you sign up

On the [soFunnels home page](https://sofunnels.com/), type a sentence about your offer into the box and press **Build my funnel**. soFunnels plans the funnel and opens it in the builder in a temporary guest workspace, with no account needed.

As a guest you can keep editing everything: the canvas, the pages, the emails and the checkout. Publishing, AI, sending email and connecting payments are unlocked when you create a free account. When you sign up, the funnel you built stays with you, exactly as you left it.

## Three ways to build a funnel

After you name your funnel, soFunnels asks how you want to build it:

## Finish your first funnel

1. **Check the flow.** On the [visual flow builder](https://sofunnels.com/guide/visual-flow-builder), make sure the steps are in the order a visitor should see them.
2. **Edit each page.** Click a step, then **Open in Page Builder**. Replace the placeholder words, images and video with your own. [Page editor guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/page-editor).
3. **Set your price.** On the checkout step, open the checkout settings and enter your product name and price. [Checkout guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/checkout-setup).

> **Tip:** publish a simple version first and improve it once real visitors arrive. Your analytics will show you which step to work on next.

## Frequently asked questions

### How many funnels can I create?

Free includes 1 funnel, Basic includes 5 and Pro is unlimited. Deleted funnels stay in the trash for 30 days, where you can restore them.

### Do I need a credit card to sign up?

No. The Free plan needs only an email address and a password.

### Can I change the funnel after the AI builds it?

Yes. Everything the AI creates is an ordinary draft. Edit, delete or reorder any step, and nothing goes live until you publish.

### What happens to a guest funnel if I sign in to an existing account?

The guest funnel moves into your account, as long as your plan has room for another funnel.
