# Send leads and orders to Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM

A **Send data to...** step forwards details from your funnel to another app the moment something happens: a form is submitted, an order is paid or an upsell is accepted. Paste the webhook address from Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM into the step, send test data, and publish. From then on, every new lead or sale reaches your other tools automatically.

## Connect an app

1. In Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM, create a new automation that starts with a webhook ("Catch Hook" in Zapier, "Custom webhook" in Make, "Webhook" in n8n). Copy the address it gives you.
2. In soFunnels, add a **Send data to...** step after your form or checkout on the flow builder.
3. Select the step, choose your app, and paste the address.
4. Press **Send Test Data** so your app receives an example and you can map its fields.
5. Publish the funnel. Check **Delivery History** on the step to see every delivery and whether it succeeded.

## What gets sent

Popular uses: add new leads to a newsletter tool, create a deal in your CRM, post new sales to a team chat, add a row to a spreadsheet, or send an order to your fulfilment service.

## Optional security key

If the receiving app can check signatures, enter a **Security Key**. soFunnels then signs every delivery, so your app can prove a message really came from your funnel. Leave it blank if you do not need it.

> **Good to know:** for developers: each delivery is an HTTPS POST with a JSON body and an X-Funnel-Event header. With a key set, X-Funnel-Signature carries "sha256=" followed by the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body using your key.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do I need a paid Zapier or Make account?

Webhook triggers are a paid feature on some Zapier plans. Make and n8n include webhooks on their free tiers. Check your tool's current plans.

### Can I send data to more than one app?

Yes. Add as many Send data steps as you need, each with its own address.

### What if my app is down when a lead arrives?

The delivery and its result are recorded in Delivery History, so you can spot a failure and act on it. The lead itself is always saved in your soFunnels contacts.
