You describe what you sell, and it builds the pages, the checkout, the upsells and the follow-up emails as one connected funnel. Payments go straight to your own Stripe account. [Read the overview](https://sofunnels.com/guide/what-is-sofunnels). ### Does soFunnels take a percentage of my sales? No. soFunnels charges a flat monthly price and takes 0% of what you sell. You connect your own Stripe account, so every order goes from the buyer to your Stripe balance. Stripe still charges its standard processing fee, as it would anywhere else. ### Is there a free plan? Yes. The Free plan includes 1 complete funnel with up to 200 page views a month, the page editor, the flow builder and lead capture, with no card needed. Taking payments and sending automated emails need Basic or Pro. [Compare the plans](https://sofunnels.com/guide/plans-and-billing). ### Do I need to know how to code or design? No. You can start from a sentence describing your offer or from a ready-made template, rearrange steps by dragging them, and edit pages by clicking and dragging blocks. Every page works on phones, tablets and desktops. ### What can I sell with soFunnels? Online courses, coaching, digital downloads, services, software trials, memberships and physical products that need a shipping address. Each checkout can charge once, charge on a subscription, split the price into a payment plan, or start with a free trial. ### Which payment methods and currencies are supported? Checkouts take credit and debit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through your Stripe account, priced in US dollars, euros, British pounds, Brazilian reais, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars. ### Can I use my own domain name? Not yet. On Basic and Pro you claim your own subdomain, such as yourname.sofunnels.com, with hosting and SSL included. Connecting a domain you already own is being built and will not cost extra. ### Can soFunnels send emails to my leads automatically? Yes, on Basic and Pro. You connect your own email sending account once, then emails placed in your funnel go out automatically after a sign-up or a purchase, with delays and conditions if you want them. [Set up follow-up emails](https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation). ### Can I export my contacts and customers? Yes, at any time and on every plan. Contacts, form submissions and orders all download as CSV files you can open in a spreadsheet or import into another tool. ### Can I cancel at any time? Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel from your account in a few clicks. Paid plans also have a 30-day money-back guarantee: ask within 30 days of your first payment and you get a full refund, and everything you built stays in your account on the Free plan. --- # What is soFunnels? Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/what-is-sofunnels Last updated: 2026-10-05 soFunnels is an online sales funnel builder. It turns a description of your offer into a complete funnel: landing page, sales page, checkout, one-click upsell, thank-you page and follow-up emails, connected in order and ready to publish. Buyers pay you directly through your own Stripe account, and soFunnels takes 0% of your sales. - **Best for:** Coaches, course creators, consultants, authors, software founders and local businesses - **Price:** Free plan; Basic from $16 a month billed yearly; Pro from $20 a month billed yearly - **Fee on your sales:** 0%. Only Stripe's standard processing fee applies - **Skills needed:** None. No code and no designer ## What is a sales funnel? A **sales funnel** is the short series of pages a visitor moves through on the way to becoming a customer. Each page has one job. An opt-in page collects an email address, a sales page explains the offer, a checkout takes the payment, an upsell offers an upgrade, and a thank-you page confirms the order. A website gives people many places to wander. A funnel gives them one next step at a time, which is why funnels usually turn more visitors into buyers. Emails sent in the background bring back the people who left before buying. | Step | Its one job | Example | | --- | --- | --- | | Opt-in page | Collect an email address | Free checklist in exchange for an email | | Sales page | Explain the offer and its value | A video and the course outline | | Checkout | Take the payment | Course for $97, with a $17 order bump | | One-click upsell | Offer an upgrade after the sale | Coaching call added with one click | | Thank-you page | Confirm and say what happens next | Access details and a welcome video | New to these words? The [sales funnel glossary](https://sofunnels.com/guide/sales-funnel-glossary) explains every term in one place. ## What soFunnels does soFunnels holds everything a funnel needs in one workspace, so you do not have to connect a page builder, a checkout, an email tool and an analytics tool yourself. - **Plans the funnel for you.** Describe your offer in a sentence and the [AI funnel builder](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-funnel-builder) drafts every page, the checkout and the follow-up emails. - **Ready-made funnels.** Start from a [funnel template](https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-templates) for a lead magnet, course, coaching application, quiz, challenge, webinar, book or software trial. - **Visual flow builder.** See the whole journey on one canvas and rearrange it by dragging. [How the flow builder works](https://sofunnels.com/guide/visual-flow-builder). - **Drag-and-drop page editor.** Edit any page with blocks for video, countdown timers, forms, testimonials and pricing. [Design your pages](https://sofunnels.com/guide/page-editor). - **Checkout on your own page.** Cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with order bumps, coupons, subscriptions, payment plans and free trials. [Set up checkout](https://sofunnels.com/guide/checkout-setup). - **One-click upsells.** After a purchase, buyers accept an upgrade with one button and nothing to type again. [Add upsells](https://sofunnels.com/guide/one-click-upsells). - **Quizzes.** One question per screen, with scores and a different next page for each result. [Create a quiz](https://sofunnels.com/guide/quiz-funnels). - **Follow-up emails.** Welcome emails, reminders and sequences that send themselves. [Automate emails](https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation). - **Analytics.** Traffic by source, conversion by step and revenue that counts only money actually collected. [Read your numbers](https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-analytics). - **Ad tracking.** Leads and purchases sent to Meta and Google from the server as well as the browser. [Track your ads](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ad-tracking). ## How it works 1. **Describe your offer.** Say what you sell, who it is for and what it costs, or pick a template. You get every page, the checkout and the follow-up emails already written. 2. **Make it yours.** Rearrange steps on the flow builder and edit any page by dragging blocks. Change a word or rebuild a section in one click. 3. **Connect Stripe and publish.** Connect your Stripe account once and press publish. Your funnel is live on its own address and can take a real payment the same day. ## Who uses soFunnels - **Coaches and consultants** who book calls with an application form or sell a challenge that leads to a program. - **Course creators** who sell a course from a video sales page and offer a coaching upgrade after checkout. - **Authors** who give away a free book for the price of shipping and offer the audiobook as an upsell. - **Software founders** who start free trials and offer a yearly plan at a discount. - **Local businesses** such as gyms and studios that sell a low-priced intro pass online. - **Agencies** that build lead generation funnels and webinar registrations for clients. ## What makes soFunnels different - **0% platform fee.** You pay a flat monthly price. Your sales go to your own Stripe account and soFunnels never takes a percentage. - **One bill instead of four tools.** Pages, checkout, emails, quizzes and analytics live together, so a lead or an order is visible everywhere at once. - **Buyers pay on your page.** The checkout is part of your funnel, not a redirect to a separate payment site. - **Revenue you can trust.** Reports count only money that was collected, never abandoned checkouts or declined cards. - **Everything is a draft until you publish.** Edit freely; visitors only see changes after you review and publish them. - **Your audience is yours.** Contacts, submissions and orders export to CSV at any time. ## What soFunnels does not do yet It helps to know the edges before you start: - **Your own domain name.** Paid plans publish on your own subdomain, such as yourname.sofunnels.com. Connecting a domain you already own is being built. - **Hosting course videos behind a login.** After a purchase you can send buyers to your course platform with an External Page step, or deliver access details by email. - **Sending email from our servers.** Funnel emails go out through your own email sending account, which protects your sender reputation. [Why and how](https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation). ## Frequently asked questions ### Is soFunnels a website builder? It builds pages, but its focus is funnels: short sequences of pages with one goal each, connected to a checkout and to follow-up emails. Use it for offers, launches and lead generation rather than a many-page company website. ### Is soFunnels a ClickFunnels alternative? Yes. soFunnels covers the same core job as all-in-one funnel builders such as ClickFunnels or Kartra: pages, checkout, order bumps, upsells and follow-up in one place. The differences are a flat price from $16 a month billed yearly, a 0% platform fee, and an AI planner that drafts the whole funnel from one sentence. [See pricing](https://sofunnels.com/pricing). ### Can I try soFunnels for free? Yes. The Free plan has no time limit and needs no card. You can even describe your offer on the home page and start building before you create an account. ### Does soFunnels work on phones? Yes. Every published page adapts to phones, tablets and desktops, and the page editor lets you preview each size side by side. --- # Create your account and your first funnel Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/create-your-first-funnel Last updated: 2026-10-05 To create your first funnel, sign up with an email and a password, choose a plan (Free works), then press Create Funnel. Name it, and choose how to build it: describe your offer and let the AI plan it, start from a ready-made template, or open a blank canvas. You can also start on the home page before you have an account. - **Time needed:** About 15 minutes for a first draft - **Plan:** Any plan, including Free - **You need:** An email address and a short description of what you sell ## Create your account 1. Go to [sofunnels.com/register](https://sofunnels.com/register) and enter your email address and a password of at least 8 characters. 2. Choose a plan. **Free** needs no card and is enough to build and test a funnel. Choose **Basic** or **Pro** when you are ready to take payments. [Compare the plans](https://sofunnels.com/guide/plans-and-billing). 3. You land on your dashboard. From here, open **Funnels** and press **Create Funnel**. > **Good to know:** confirming your email address is only needed for the AI features. Everything else works straight away, and soFunnels will remind you to confirm when you first use AI. ## Or start before you sign up On the [soFunnels home page](https://sofunnels.com/), type a sentence about your offer into the box and press **Build my funnel**. soFunnels plans the funnel and opens it in the builder in a temporary guest workspace, with no account needed. As a guest you can keep editing everything: the canvas, the pages, the emails and the checkout. Publishing, AI, sending email and connecting payments are unlocked when you create a free account. When you sign up, the funnel you built stays with you, exactly as you left it. ## Three ways to build a funnel After you name your funnel, soFunnels asks how you want to build it: | Option | What happens | Best when | | --- | --- | --- | | **AI Funnel Architect** | You describe your offer, audience and goal. The AI plans the step order, connects the steps and drafts the pages. | You know what you sell but not how to structure it | | **Turnkey Funnel Templates** | You pick a complete funnel with pages, checkout, upsell and delivery emails already connected. | Your offer matches a proven shape, such as a webinar or a course | | **Build from Scratch** | You get an empty canvas and drag in the steps you want. | You already have a plan and want full control | Whichever you choose, the result is an ordinary funnel you can change freely. Learn more about [building with AI](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-funnel-builder) and [templates](https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-templates). ## Finish your first funnel 1. **Check the flow.** On the [visual flow builder](https://sofunnels.com/guide/visual-flow-builder), make sure the steps are in the order a visitor should see them. 2. **Edit each page.** Click a step, then **Open in Page Builder**. Replace the placeholder words, images and video with your own. [Page editor guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/page-editor). 3. **Set your price.** On the checkout step, open the checkout settings and enter your product name and price. [Checkout guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/checkout-setup). 4. **Connect Stripe** if you sell something. This needs Basic or Pro. [Connect Stripe](https://sofunnels.com/guide/connect-stripe). 5. **Preview, then publish.** Press **Publish funnel**, review what will go live, and confirm. [Publishing guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/publish-and-share). > **Tip:** publish a simple version first and improve it once real visitors arrive. Your analytics will show you which step to work on next. ## Frequently asked questions ### How many funnels can I create? Free includes 1 funnel, Basic includes 5 and Pro is unlimited. Deleted funnels stay in the trash for 30 days, where you can restore them. ### Do I need a credit card to sign up? No. The Free plan needs only an email address and a password. ### Can I change the funnel after the AI builds it? Yes. Everything the AI creates is an ordinary draft. Edit, delete or reorder any step, and nothing goes live until you publish. ### What happens to a guest funnel if I sign in to an existing account? The guest funnel moves into your account, as long as your plan has room for another funnel. --- # Sales funnel glossary Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/sales-funnel-glossary Last updated: 2026-10-05 Funnel builders have their own vocabulary. This glossary defines each term in a sentence or two, with how it works in soFunnels, so you can read any funnel guide or template with confidence. ## Funnel pages - **Sales funnel**: A short series of pages that moves a visitor towards one goal, such as a sign-up or a purchase, one step at a time. - **Opt-in page**: A page whose only job is to collect an email address, usually in exchange for something free. Also called a **squeeze page** or **landing page**. - **Lead magnet**: The free thing offered on an opt-in page: a checklist, a guide, a video training, a template or a discount. - **Sales page**: A page that explains an offer in depth and ends with a button to buy. - **VSL (video sales letter)**: A sales page built around one video that presents the offer, often with the buy button revealed below it. - **Checkout page**: The page where the buyer enters payment details. In soFunnels the checkout sits on your own page, with cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. - **Thank-you page**: The page shown after a sign-up or purchase. It confirms what happened and tells the person what to do next. - **Application page**: A form that qualifies people before they book a call, used for high-priced coaching and services. - **Webinar funnel**: A funnel that registers people for a live or recorded presentation and follows up with an offer or a call booking. - **Challenge funnel**: A funnel that signs people up for a free multi-day challenge, usually ending in an offer for a paid program. ## Offers and pricing - **Order bump**: A small extra offer shown as a tick box on the checkout, such as a $17 workbook next to a $97 course. One tick adds it to the same payment. [Add an order bump](https://sofunnels.com/guide/checkout-setup#order-bumps). - **One-click upsell**: An upgrade offered on the page right after a purchase. The buyer accepts with one button and is charged on the card they just used, with nothing to type again. Also called an **OTO (one-time offer)**. [Add an upsell](https://sofunnels.com/guide/one-click-upsells). - **Downsell**: A smaller or cheaper alternative shown to buyers who decline an upsell, such as a lite version or a payment plan. - **Tripwire**: A low-priced first offer, often between $7 and $27, made right after an opt-in to turn a new lead into a customer. - **Payment plan**: A price split into a fixed number of instalments, such as three monthly payments of $37. It ends by itself after the last instalment. - **Subscription**: A price charged every month or every year until the customer cancels. - **Free trial**: A subscription that charges nothing today and starts charging after a set number of days. - **Coupon code**: A code typed at checkout for a percentage or a fixed amount off. - **Average order value (AOV)**: Total revenue divided by the number of orders. Order bumps and upsells raise it. ## Traffic and measurement - **Lead**: Someone who gave you their contact details, usually an email address. - **Conversion rate**: The share of visitors who complete a step's goal. If 100 people see a checkout and 4 buy, its conversion rate is 4%. - **Drop-off**: The visitors who leave between one step and the next. The step with the biggest drop-off is usually the one to improve first. - **UTM parameters**: Labels added to a link, such as utm_source=facebook, that tell your analytics where a visitor came from. - **A/B test**: Sending part of your traffic to one version of a page and the rest to another, to see which converts better. In soFunnels this is the **Traffic Split** step. - **Conversions API (CAPI)**: Meta's way of receiving sign-ups and purchases from your server rather than only from the visitor's browser, so ad blockers do not hide them. [Set up ad tracking](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ad-tracking). - **Pixel**: A small piece of code from an ad platform that records what visitors do on your pages, used to measure and target ads. - **Webhook**: An automatic message one app sends another when something happens, such as a new lead. Tools like Zapier and Make use them. [Send data to other apps](https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks). ## Frequently asked questions ### What is the difference between an order bump and an upsell? An order bump is a tick box on the checkout itself, added to the same payment. An upsell is a separate offer on the next page, after the payment, accepted with one click. ### What is the difference between a landing page and a sales funnel? A landing page is one page. A sales funnel is several pages in order, plus the checkout and the follow-up, built to move a visitor from first visit to purchase. ### What does OTO mean? OTO stands for one-time offer: an upgrade shown once, right after a purchase. In soFunnels it is the 1-Click Upsell step. --- # Plans, limits and billing Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/plans-and-billing Last updated: 2026-10-05 soFunnels has three plans. **Free** lets you build and publish 1 funnel with up to 200 page views a month. **Basic** ($27 a month, or $16 a month billed yearly) adds checkout, upsells, automated emails and your own subdomain for up to 5 funnels and 10,000 views a month. **Pro** ($34 a month, or $20 a month billed yearly) removes the funnel and traffic limits. - **Free:** $0, no card needed - **Basic:** $27 a month or $192 a year - **Pro:** $34 a month or $240 a year - **Yearly saving:** About 40% compared with paying monthly ## Compare the plans | Feature | Free | Basic | Pro | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | Price | $0 | $27/mo or $192/yr | $34/mo or $240/yr | | Funnels | 1 | 5 | No limit | | Page views a month | 200 | 10,000 | No limit | | Flow builder and page editor | Yes | Yes | Yes | | Lead capture and contacts | Yes | Yes | Yes | | AI allowance each month | Small | Large | Largest | | Stripe checkout, order bumps, upsells (0% fee) | No | Yes | Yes | | Subscriptions and payment plans | No | Yes | Yes | | Automated follow-up emails | No | Yes | Yes | | Your own subdomain | No | Yes | Yes | | Meta and Google ad tracking | No | Yes | Yes | | "Built with soFunnels" badge | Shown | Removed | Removed | The full feature list is on the [pricing page](https://sofunnels.com/pricing#compare). ## How page view limits work A page view is counted each time a visitor opens one of your published funnel pages. Your own visits while signed in are not counted. The counter resets at the start of each calendar month. If your live pages reach the monthly limit (200 on Free, 10,000 on Basic), visitors see a short notice instead of your page until you upgrade or the next month begins. Pro has no limit. > **Tip:** running paid ads? Basic covers most early campaigns. Move to Pro before a launch or a big ad push so a busy day never hits the limit. ## Your monthly AI allowance Planning a funnel, writing a page and drafting an email with AI each use part of a monthly allowance. Free covers a handful of generations, Basic covers well over a hundred, and Pro the most. Your usage shows in the account menu at the top right of the studio, and it resets every month. ## Upgrade, downgrade or cancel 1. Open the account menu at the top right and choose **Billing**. 2. To upgrade, pick **Basic** or **Pro** and monthly or yearly billing, then pay securely through Stripe. 3. To change your card, download invoices, switch plans or cancel, press **Manage Billing**. If you cancel, you keep your paid features until the end of the period you already paid for. Your funnels, pages and contacts stay in your account. ## The 30-day money-back guarantee Paid plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If soFunnels is not right for you, contact [support@sofunnels.com](mailto:support@sofunnels.com) within 30 days of your first payment and you get a full refund, no reason needed. Your account moves back to the Free plan and everything you built stays in it. Details are in the [Terms of Service](https://sofunnels.com/terms). ## Frequently asked questions ### Does soFunnels charge a transaction fee? No. On every plan soFunnels takes 0% of your sales. Stripe charges its standard processing fee on each payment, as it would anywhere else. ### Can I publish a funnel on the Free plan? Yes. Free funnels publish on an automatic address and carry a small "Built with soFunnels" badge. Taking payments needs Basic or Pro. ### What happens if I downgrade with more funnels than my new plan allows? Nothing is deleted. You cannot create new funnels until you are under the new limit, and features your new plan does not include, such as taking payments and sending automated emails on Free, are switched off until you upgrade again. ### Is there a discount for paying yearly? Yes. Yearly billing saves about 40%: Basic is $192 a year ($16 a month) and Pro is $240 a year ($20 a month). --- # Build a funnel with AI Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-funnel-builder Last updated: 2026-10-05 The soFunnels AI turns a short description of your offer into a complete draft funnel: the right steps in the right order, written pages, a checkout and follow-up emails. Everything it makes is a draft you can edit, and nothing goes live until you publish. It also helps inside the page and email editors with headlines, sections and subject lines. - **Plan:** Every plan, with a monthly allowance that grows on Basic and Pro - **Before you start:** Confirm your email address - **What it makes:** Steps, page copy, checkout and follow-up emails, all as drafts ## Plan a new funnel with AI 1. Open **Funnels** and press **Create Funnel**. 2. Give the funnel a name, such as "Spring course launch", and press **Continue**. 3. Choose **AI Funnel Architect**. 4. Describe your offer and product: what it is, who it helps, what it costs and what the buyer gets. Add your target audience if you know it. 5. Pick the goal: **Direct Purchase / Checkout**, **Book Strategy Call / Application**, **Capture Qualified Leads**, or **Start Free Software Trial**. 6. Wait a few seconds while the AI plans the step order and connects the steps on the canvas. Then open each step to review its page. > **Tip:** be specific. "A $97 online course that teaches busy parents to cook healthy dinners in 20 minutes, with a $27 meal planner as an order bump" gives a far better first draft than "a cooking course". ## Keep building in the chat On the flow builder, the **Funnel Architect** panel plans and builds the funnel with you. Ask it in plain words, for example: - "Audit this funnel and tell me what to fix first" - "Add a 3-email follow-up after the opt-in" - "Build every step that has no page yet" - "What should I A/B test first?" When the architect proposes a change, it appears in the chat as a card with an **Apply** button, so nothing on your canvas changes until you press it. To write a single page, select its step and press **Build with AI Architect**. ## AI inside the page and email editors In the [page editor](https://sofunnels.com/guide/page-editor), the AI assistant writes and rewrites direct-response copy and whole sections: "Write 5 headline options for this page", "Make the hero section more specific", or "Add an FAQ that handles the top objections". In the [email editor](https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation), it drafts sequences and polishes single emails: "Write 3 subject line options", "Make this email shorter and punchier", or "Add a P.S. that drives the click". ## What the AI will not do on its own - **Publish.** Every change is a draft until you review it and press publish. - **Set real prices or connect payments.** Check the price on each checkout before you go live. - **Send emails.** Emails it writes are sent only by your published funnel, through your own sending account. > **Good to know:** AI writing is a strong first draft, not a finished page. Read every claim, price, guarantee and testimonial before publishing, and replace anything that is not true for your business. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why do I need to confirm my email to use AI? Confirming your email keeps the AI allowance for real accounts. It takes one click from the message soFunnels sends you, and the rest of the studio works without it. ### How much can I generate each month? Every plan includes a monthly AI allowance that resets each month. Free covers a handful of generations, and Basic and Pro include far larger allowances. Your usage shows in the account menu. ### Can the AI build a funnel in my language? Write your description in the language you want the pages in, and ask the architect to keep that language when it writes. ### Can I use my own AI assistant instead? Yes. You can connect an AI assistant that supports custom connectors to your workspace. [Connect your AI assistant](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-assistant-connector). --- # Start from a funnel template Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-templates Last updated: 2026-10-05 Templates give you a complete, connected funnel in one click: pages written for a real offer, a checkout, upsells and follow-up emails with their waits already set. Pick the template closest to your offer, then replace the example words, prices and images with your own. Templates are free to use on every plan. - **Price:** Free on every plan - **What you get:** Pages, checkout, upsells and emails already connected - **Browse:** [sofunnels.com/templates](https://sofunnels.com/templates) ## Complete funnel templates Each of these is a whole customer journey, not a single page: | Template | Use it to | What is inside | | --- | --- | --- | | Lead magnet | Grow your email list and make a first sale | Opt-in page, download page, low-priced offer, one-click upsell and delivery emails | | Online course | Sell a course after a free masterclass | Masterclass sign-up, replay and enrollment page, one-click upsell, welcome page and emails | | Coaching application | Book qualified calls | Home page, application form, call booking page, call preparation page and emails | | Creator quiz | Segment leads by answer | Scored quiz with a result page and result emails for each group | | 5-day challenge | Lead into a paid program | Registration, challenge hub, VIP upgrade, one-click upsell and daily emails | | Video sales letter | Sell with one video | Free training opt-in, video sales letter, upsell, member access page and emails | | Free book plus shipping | Turn readers into buyers | Book claim with a shipping checkout, an audiobook order bump, a workshop upsell and buyer emails | | Software free trial | Start free trials | Product page, free trial checkout, onboarding session upsell, welcome page and trial emails | | Video series launch | Run a product launch | Free video series, sales page, one-click upsell, welcome page and launch emails | | Local gym intro offer | Sell an intro pass | Low-priced pass checkout, personal training upsell, first visit booking and emails | | Automated webinar | Book calls from a webinar | Registration, training room with an application, call booking and confirmation emails | The emails in these templates react to what each person does next. For example, someone who already booked a call stops getting reminders to book one. ## Use a template 1. Open **Funnels**, press **Create Funnel**, name it and choose **Turnkey Funnel Templates**. Or browse the [template gallery](https://sofunnels.com/templates) and press **Use Template**. 2. Use **Preview Funnel** to click through the pages before you choose. 3. Create the funnel. It opens on the flow builder with every step connected. 4. Open each page and replace the example business name, prices, images and video with yours. 5. Open each email and check the sender details and wording. [Set up email sending](https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation). 6. Set your real price on each checkout, then [publish](https://sofunnels.com/guide/publish-and-share). ## Add a single page from the library The template library also holds single pages by category: SaaS and tech, sales and courses, lead magnets, agency and B2B, fitness and health, real estate and business, checkout and upsell pages, and thank-you pages. Choose **Add to Existing** to drop a page into a funnel you already have. Adding a page to an existing funnel does not use one of your plan's funnel slots. > **Tip:** built a page you love? On the flow builder, open the step's menu and choose **Save as Reusable Template** to reuse it in any funnel. ## Frequently asked questions ### Are the templates free? Yes. Every template is free to use on every plan. Your plan only limits how many funnels you can have at once. ### Will my funnel look like everyone else's? Only if you leave it unchanged. Swap in your own photos, colours, words and offer, and the structure underneath is all that remains the same. ### Can I mix pages from different templates? Yes. Add single pages from the library to any funnel, or copy a step from one funnel to another from the step's menu. --- # Map your funnel on the visual flow builder Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/visual-flow-builder Last updated: 2026-10-05 The flow builder shows your whole funnel on one canvas. Each card is a step: a page, an email, a wait or a decision. Lines between cards decide where a visitor goes next and what runs in the background. Click a card to edit it, drag between the dots on its edges to connect it, and drag cards to rearrange the canvas. - **Plan:** Every plan - **Where:** Funnels, then open any funnel ## The steps you can add Tap a step in the library to add it, or drag it onto the canvas. Steps come in three groups. ### Pages the visitor sees | Step | Its goal | | --- | --- | | Opt-in / Landing | Capture a lead with a form | | Sales Page / VSL | Present the offer and send visitors to checkout | | Checkout & Bump | Take the payment, with optional order bumps | | 1-Click Upsell (OTO) | Offer an upgrade after the purchase | | Downsell Offer | Offer a smaller alternative to people who decline | | Tripwire / Impulse Offer | Make a low-priced first sale | | Application / Booking | Qualify people and book a call | | Quiz | Ask one question per screen and score the answers | | Thank You / Confirmation | Confirm the order and say what happens next | | External Page | Send visitors to a link outside soFunnels, such as your course platform | ### Automations that run in the background - **Email Automation**: sends an email to the lead or customer. - **Send data to...**: forwards form entries or order details to Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM. - **Delay / Wait**: pauses for a set time, or until a date and time, before the next automation. ### Logic that decides the path - **Condition**: sends people one way or another based on what they did, such as whether they bought. - **Traffic Split**: sends a fixed percentage of visitors down each path, for A/B tests. Conditions, splits and waits are covered in [Branch, A/B test and delay your funnel](https://sofunnels.com/guide/conditions-splits-and-delays). ## What the lines mean A line's style tells you what it does, decided by the steps at its two ends: | Line | Between | Meaning | | --- | --- | --- | | Solid | A page and the next page | The visitor goes here next | | Dashed | Anything and an email, wait or data step | Runs in the background; the visitor is not moved | | Dotted, labelled "Email button" | An email and a page | The page the email's button opens | > **Good to know:** an email never moves a visitor. Someone who joins your list goes straight on to the next page while the email is sent in the background. ## Add, connect and edit steps 1. **Add a step** by tapping it in the step library, or drag it to where you want it. 2. **Connect two steps** by dragging from the dot on the right edge of one card to the dot on the left edge of the next. 3. **Choose the first page** by selecting it and pressing **Set as Start**. This is the page your funnel link opens. 4. **Edit a page** by selecting its card and pressing **Open in Page Builder**. 5. **Change the step's address** in its settings under **URL Path Slug**. On Free, addresses are created automatically; Basic and Pro let you choose them. Each step's menu also lets you **Duplicate Step in this Funnel**, **Copy Step to Another Funnel**, **Save as Reusable Template** or **Delete Step from Funnel**. When you remove a step, its neighbours are reconnected only when the new line would mean the same thing as the old one. > **Tip:** live visitor counts appear on each card once your funnel is published, so you can see at a glance where people stop. ## Saving and drafts Every change saves automatically as a draft. Your live funnel does not change until you press **Review & publish** and confirm. If you change your mind, **Discard unpublished changes** returns the draft to what is live. [Publishing guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/publish-and-share). ## Frequently asked questions ### Can a funnel have more than one path? Yes. Use a Condition to send buyers and non-buyers different ways, or a Traffic Split to test two versions of a page. ### How do I send buyers to my course platform after checkout? Add an External Page step after the checkout or thank-you page and paste the full address of your course platform, starting with https://. ### Does the flow builder work on a phone? Yes. Tap a card to build it, pinch to zoom and drag to move around the canvas. --- # Design pages with the drag-and-drop editor Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/page-editor Last updated: 2026-10-05 The page editor lets you build any funnel page by clicking and dragging. Drag blocks such as headlines, video, countdown timers, testimonials, pricing cards and forms onto the page, click any text to change it, and switch between desktop, tablet and phone views to check every size. Changes save automatically as a draft. - **Plan:** Every plan - **Where:** On the flow builder, select a page step and press Open in Page Builder - **Devices:** Desktop, tablet and phone previews ## Edit a page 1. On the flow builder, select a page step and press **Open in Page Builder**. 2. Click any text on the page to type over it. Select an element to change its colours, spacing, fonts and size in the side panel. 3. Open the blocks panel and drag a block onto the page where you want it. 4. Use the device buttons at the top to check the page on desktop, tablet and phone. 5. Undo and redo any change with the arrows in the toolbar. ## Blocks you can add | Group | Blocks | | --- | --- | | Basic elements | Headlines, paragraphs, buttons, images, links, quotes, checkmark lists, badges, dividers and spacers | | Layout | One to four columns and split layouts | | Ready-made sections | Hero sections, feature grids, testimonials, pricing cards, FAQ, stats bars, call-to-action banners, headers and footers | | Selling | Offer value stack, guarantee seal, urgency banner, countdown timer and upsell progress bar | | Forms and funnels | Opt-in form, checkout, order bump, one-click upsell offer and appointment calendar | | Media | Video players for YouTube, Vimeo and Wistia, a video sales letter frame, images and GIFs | | Advanced | Custom HTML for anything else, such as a third-party widget | ## Images and video Select an image to replace it from your media library, where you can upload your own photos or choose from marketing images. Uploaded images are optimised automatically so pages stay fast. For video, paste the link from YouTube, Vimeo or Wistia into a video block. Autoplay videos must start muted, which browsers require. ## Every page keeps its goal Each step exists to do one thing, and its page carries the piece that does it: an opt-in page has a form, a checkout page has a checkout, an upsell page has an offer button and a quiz page has its quiz. You can rearrange everything else freely. If that piece is deleted, soFunnels will not publish the page without it, and offers to add it back for you. ## Write with AI The AI assistant in the editor writes headlines, rewrites sections and adds whole new sections such as an FAQ. Ask in plain words and review what it writes before you publish. [More about AI](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-funnel-builder). ## Take bookings with Calendly Drop an **Appointment Calendar** block on an application or booking page and paste your Calendly link into its settings. The calendar resizes to fit the page, and when someone books, they can continue to the next step of your funnel. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do my pages work on phones? Yes. Pages adapt to every screen size. Use the phone preview to check spacing and font sizes, since most funnel traffic from social media arrives on phones. ### Can I add my own code? Yes. The Custom HTML block accepts your own code for widgets or embeds the editor does not offer as a block. ### Do I need to press save? No. Changes save automatically as a draft. Visitors see them only after you publish the funnel. --- # Create a quiz funnel Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/quiz-funnels Last updated: 2026-10-05 A quiz step shows one question per screen, scores the answers and gives each visitor a result, such as Beginner or Advanced. Each result can lead to its own page, offer and emails. Answers are saved to the contact, and people who leave halfway can get a reminder email that takes them back to where they stopped. - **Plan:** Every plan; reminder and result emails need Basic or Pro - **Where:** Add a Quiz step on the flow builder, then open it ## Build a quiz 1. On the flow builder, add a **Quiz** step and open it. The quiz builder opens. 2. On the **Questions** tab, add your questions. Start with a **Welcome screen** if you want an introduction. 3. Add a **Contact details** question to ask for a name, email or phone. Turn on "Let them skip" if the email should be optional. 4. Give each answer points in the question settings if you want a score. 5. On the **Results** tab, add a result for each group of visitors, such as Beginner and Advanced, with the score range that leads to it. 6. Use **Preview** to take the real quiz. Answers in preview are never saved. ## Question types | Type | How it works | | --- | --- | | Welcome screen | An optional introduction with a headline and a Start button | | Single choice | Pick one answer; moves on automatically | | Multiple choice | Pick several, with an optional minimum and maximum | | Yes / No | A two-answer question | | Short text and Long text | Typed answers, shown on the Submissions page | | Rating | A score from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 | | Contact details | Name, email and phone, each switched on or off | | Ending screen | Shown at the end when nothing is connected after the quiz | ## Send each result to its own page In the quiz builder, press **Create a path for each result**. soFunnels adds a Condition after the quiz with one branch per result, so each group lands on the page and offer made for them. You can also branch on a single answer, the score, or whether the quiz was finished, with an ordinary [Condition](https://sofunnels.com/guide/conditions-splits-and-delays). ## Remind people who do not finish Press **Add a reminder for people who do not finish**. Once someone has given their email, a reminder email can bring them back. Its button reopens the quiz where they left off, for up to 14 days. > **Good to know:** nothing is saved about a visitor until they give a valid email. Someone who finishes without one is counted as an anonymous finish, not as a lead. ## See how your quiz is doing The **Insights** tab shows how many people saw the quiz, how many finished, left it unfinished or finished without giving an email, the average score, how results split and how each question was answered, counted from your live funnel. Each person's answers, score and result also appear on the Submissions page. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can visitors cheat the score? No. Scores and results are worked out by soFunnels from the published quiz, not by the visitor's browser. ### Can I send a different email for each result? Yes, on Basic and Pro. Put the result emails behind a Wait and a "Finished the quiz" condition, so they go out only after the quiz is complete. ### What if someone takes the quiz twice? Each attempt is saved separately, and finishing the same attempt twice does not count it twice. --- # Branch, A/B test and delay your funnel Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/conditions-splits-and-delays Last updated: 2026-10-05 Three logic steps make a funnel react to people. A **Condition** sends someone one way or another based on what they did, such as buying or clicking an email. A **Traffic Split** sends a fixed share of visitors down each path for A/B tests. A **Delay / Wait** pauses automations for a time or until a date. - **Plan:** Every plan; emails after a wait need Basic or Pro - **Where:** Logic steps on the flow builder ## Conditions A Condition has two outputs: one for "yes" and one for "no". Connect each to the step that group should reach next, or leave one unconnected to end the journey for that group. You can choose from these conditions: | Condition | Works after | | --- | --- | | Purchased; Order total; Bought the order bump | A checkout, sales or tripwire page | | Accepted the offer | An upsell or downsell | | Submitted the form; Answer to a question | An opt-in or application page | | Quiz score; Quiz result; Finished the quiz | A quiz | | Bought a product or offer | Anywhere in the funnel | | Clicked a page link or button; Clicked an email link | Anywhere in the funnel | | Reached a funnel step | Anywhere in the funnel | Conditions can lead straight into another condition, so you can check several things in a row. > **Tip:** "did not click" is only true after some time has passed. Put a **Delay / Wait** before a condition like "Clicked an email link" so people have a fair chance to click before the "no" branch runs. ## A/B tests with Traffic Split 1. Add a **Traffic Split** before the pages you want to compare. 2. Set the percentage for each path, such as 50 and 50. 3. Connect each output to a different version of the page. 4. Publish, then compare the conversion rate of each version in your [funnel analytics](https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-analytics). A returning visitor stays on the same path, so nobody sees two versions of your offer. ## Delays and waits A **Delay / Wait** pauses the automations after it. Choose **Wait for duration**, such as 1 day or 2 hours, or **Wait until specific date & time** in a time zone you pick, which suits webinar reminders and launch days. Each person waits from the moment they reached the step: someone who joins at 10:00 with a 2-hour wait gets the next email at 12:00, and someone who joins at 12:00 gets it at 14:00. > **Good to know:** waits pause emails and other background steps. A visitor moving through your pages is never held up by a wait. ## Example: follow up with people who did not buy 1. After your sales page, add a **Delay / Wait** of 1 day. 2. After the wait, add a **Condition** set to **Purchased**. 3. Leave the "yes" output unconnected, so buyers hear nothing more. 4. Connect the "no" output to an **Email Automation** with a reminder and a link back to the sales page. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do changes to a published funnel affect people already waiting? People already waiting keep their timers. When their wait ends they continue along the latest published version of the funnel. ### What happens if I delete a step someone is waiting on? Their journey ends gracefully instead of breaking, and nobody receives an email from a step that no longer exists. --- # Connect Stripe and get paid Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/connect-stripe Last updated: 2026-10-05 To take payments, connect your own Stripe account once: open **Settings**, choose **Payment Gateway**, press **Connect with Stripe** and follow Stripe's steps. From then on every checkout, order bump and upsell charges through your Stripe account. Money goes from the buyer to your Stripe balance and out to your bank on your usual schedule. soFunnels takes 0%. - **Plan:** Basic or Pro - **Time needed:** About 10 minutes, mostly on Stripe - **You need:** A Stripe account, or the details to create one - **Platform fee:** 0%. Only Stripe's standard processing fee applies ## Connect your Stripe account 1. In the studio, open **Settings** in the top bar and choose **Payment Gateway**. 2. Press **Connect with Stripe**. 3. On Stripe, sign in to your existing account or create a new one, then confirm your business and bank details. 4. You return to soFunnels with the connection marked **Active & Ready**. Press **Test Connection** to check it at any time. > **Good to know:** if you leave Stripe before finishing, the button changes to **Continue Onboarding on Stripe** so you can pick up where you stopped. ## How the money flows - **Buyers pay you directly.** Charges are made on your Stripe account. soFunnels is not a payment processor and never holds your money. - **0% platform fee.** soFunnels charges a flat plan price and takes nothing from your sales. Stripe charges its standard processing fee. - **Payouts follow your Stripe schedule.** Stripe pays out to your bank exactly as it would for any other sale. - **Refunds, disputes and receipts stay in Stripe.** You manage them from your Stripe dashboard. [Orders and refunds](https://sofunnels.com/guide/orders-and-refunds). - **Card details never touch soFunnels.** Buyers type them into Stripe's secure payment fields on your page. ## Test before you launch 1. Publish your funnel and open it in a private browser window. 2. Buy your own product with a real card, ideally at a low test price. 3. Check that the order appears as **Paid** on your **Orders** page and in your Stripe dashboard. 4. Refund the test order from Stripe, then watch the order change to **Refunded** in soFunnels. > **Tip:** set the checkout price back to the real amount after your test, and publish again. ## Change or disconnect your account On the Payment Gateway screen, **Open Stripe Dashboard** takes you to your account, and **Disconnect** removes the connection. Your checkouts stop taking payments until you connect again, so only disconnect when no funnel is live, or when you are switching straight to another Stripe account. ## Frequently asked questions ### Does soFunnels take a cut of my sales? No. soFunnels takes 0% on every plan. Stripe charges its standard processing fee, as it would on any website. ### Which countries are supported? soFunnels works through Stripe, so you can connect if Stripe supports businesses in your country; Stripe tells you during sign-up if it does not. Checkouts charge in US dollars, euros, British pounds, Brazilian reais, Canadian dollars or Australian dollars. ### Can I use PayPal? Not at the moment. Checkouts take cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay through Stripe. ### Why do I need Basic or Pro to take payments? Taking payments is part of the paid plans, alongside upsells, automated emails and your own subdomain. You can build and test the whole funnel on Free first. --- # Set up your checkout: prices, order bumps, coupons and payment plans Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/checkout-setup Last updated: 2026-10-05 Each checkout is set up in one place: open the checkout page, select the checkout and press **Edit Checkout**. There you name your product, set the price and currency, choose one-time payment, a payment plan or a subscription with an optional free trial, add order bumps and coupon codes, pick the payment methods, and decide where buyers go after paying. - **Plan:** Build on any plan; taking payments needs Basic or Pro - **Where:** Open the checkout page, select the checkout, press Edit Checkout - **Currencies:** USD, EUR, GBP, BRL, CAD and AUD ## Set your product and price 1. On the flow builder, select your **Checkout & Bump** step and press **Open in Page Builder**. 2. Select the checkout on the page and press **Edit Checkout**. 3. Under **Main Product Details**, enter the product name, a short tagline and description, the price and the currency. 4. Add a **Compare-at Price** if you want to show the regular price crossed out. 5. Watch the **Live Interactive Preview** update, then press **Save Checkout**. > **Good to know:** the price your buyer pays is always the one saved in your checkout. Nothing a visitor changes in their browser can alter it. ## One-time, payment plan or subscription | Billing model | What the buyer pays | Good for | | --- | --- | --- | | **One-Time Payment** | The full amount today | Courses, downloads, books, one-off services | | **Split Payment Plan** | A set number of instalments, such as 3 monthly payments of $37, then it stops | Higher-priced programs | | **Recurring Subscription** | A price every week, month or year until they cancel | Memberships, software, retainers | You can offer several payment plans on one checkout, each with its own label, and let the buyer choose. For subscriptions, set **Free Trial Days** (up to 90) to charge nothing today and start billing when the trial ends. Add **Rebill Disclaimer Copy** so buyers know exactly when they will be charged. ## Order bumps An order bump is a small extra offer shown as a tick box on the checkout. Buyers add it with one tick, and it is charged with the main product in the same payment. 1. In **Edit Checkout**, open **Order Bumps** and press **Add Order Bump Offer**. 2. Enter the bump title, price and a one-line description, and add a **Highlight Badge** such as "One-time offer" if you like. 3. Save the checkout and check it in the preview. > **Tip:** the best bumps cost a fraction of the main product and make it easier to use, such as templates for a course or a workbook for a book. On a subscription checkout, a bump is charged once, not with every renewal. ## Coupon codes 1. Turn on **Enable Coupon / Promo Code Field**. 2. Press **Add Promo Code**, type the code, and choose **Percentage off** or **Fixed amount off**. 3. Choose whether it **Applies To** the main product only or to the product and upgrades. 4. Optionally set an expiry date, then save. A code that is not on your list is simply refused, and the price stays the same. ## Layout, fields and payment methods - **Layout Mode:** a **2-Step** checkout asks for contact details first and payment second, which captures the email of people who do not finish. A **1-Step** checkout shows everything on one screen. - **Customer Fields:** collect a mobile phone number, and a full shipping address for physical products. - **Accepted Payment Methods:** credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay for one-tap payment on phones. - **Button text:** change the words on the step one button and the final order button. ## What happens after payment Under **After Purchase**, choose where buyers go once they have paid: - **Go to Next Funnel Step (Automatic)**: the next page on your flow builder, usually an upsell or thank-you page. - **Go to Specific Funnel Page**: any page in the same funnel. - **Redirect to Custom External URL**: a page outside soFunnels, such as your course platform. - **Stay on Page & Show Confirmation Receipt**: a confirmation message on the checkout itself. ## Frequently asked questions ### Can I sell physical products? Yes. Turn on **Collect Full Shipping Address** under Customer Fields, and use the order details on your Orders page or send them to your fulfilment tool with a [webhook](https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks). ### Does soFunnels calculate sales tax or VAT? No. soFunnels charges the price you set. If you need to collect tax, include it in your price, and keep your tax records with the payment history in your Stripe account. ### Does a free trial take the card today? Yes. The card is saved and checked today, nothing is charged, and billing starts automatically when the trial ends. ### Can a checkout be free? Yes. A checkout that prices to zero records the order without taking a payment, which suits a free signup that should still collect contact or shipping details. --- # Add one-click upsells and downsells Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/one-click-upsells Last updated: 2026-10-05 A one-click upsell is an offer shown right after a purchase. The buyer accepts with one button and is charged on the card they just used, with nothing to type again. People who decline can be sent to a downsell, a smaller alternative. Add an upsell by placing a **1-Click Upsell (OTO)** step after your checkout and setting its price. - **Plan:** Basic or Pro - **Where:** A 1-Click Upsell (OTO) step after a checkout - **Pricing:** One-time prices only ## Add an upsell 1. On the flow builder, add a **1-Click Upsell (OTO)** step and connect your checkout to it. 2. Connect the upsell to the next page, usually a downsell or the thank-you page. 3. Open the upsell page, select the offer block and press **Edit Checkout**. 4. Enter the offer name and its one-time price. Set the **Accept Button Text** and the **Decline Link Text**, such as "Yes, add it to my order" and "No thanks". 5. Save, then publish the funnel and test it with a real purchase. ## Send people who decline to a downsell Add a **Downsell Offer** step with a smaller or cheaper version of the upsell. Then in the upsell's **Edit Checkout**, set **If Declined, Go To** to your downsell page. Buyers who accept the upsell continue to the next step; buyers who decline see the downsell. ## What the buyer experiences - **One click.** The upgrade is charged to the card used at checkout. Nothing to type. - **Bank checks still work.** If the buyer's bank asks them to confirm the payment, they confirm it on the same page. - **No surprises.** If a charge cannot be completed, the buyer is told in plain words that they were not charged for the upgrade, and offered a clear way to continue. - **No double charges.** A double click or a refresh never charges twice. - **A fair window.** The offer can be accepted for 30 minutes after the last decision, and each acceptance gives the next offer fresh time, so a series of offer pages with long videos does not expire halfway. ## Good to know - **One-time prices only.** A subscription needs the buyer's explicit agreement at checkout, so one-click offers are one-time charges. - **Cards are saved only when needed.** soFunnels saves the buyer's card for an upsell only in funnels that have an offer after the sale. - **Upsells stay in their funnel.** An offer can only charge purchases made in the same funnel. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is a good upsell? Something that makes the first purchase faster, easier or bigger: a coaching call after a course, templates after a book, or a yearly plan after a trial. Price it close to the original purchase or a little above. ### Can I have more than one upsell? Yes. Chain several upsell and downsell steps after the checkout. Each acceptance keeps the offer window open for the next one. ### Do upsells show in my revenue? Yes. Accepted upsells appear as their own orders and count towards revenue once paid. Declined ones never count. --- # Track orders, refunds and disputes Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/orders-and-refunds Last updated: 2026-10-05 Every purchase in your funnels appears on the **Orders** page with its status, amount and customer. Refunds and disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard, and soFunnels updates the order and your revenue automatically. Only money you actually collected counts as revenue. - **Plan:** Every plan with a connected Stripe account - **Where:** Orders in the top navigation ## What each status means | Status | Meaning | Counts as revenue | | --- | --- | --- | | Pending | The buyer started paying but the payment is not confirmed yet | No | | Processing | The bank is still processing the payment | Yes | | Paid | The payment succeeded, or a free order completed | Yes | | Partial refund | Part of the payment was refunded | Yes, minus the refund | | Refunded | The whole payment was refunded | No, after the refund | | Disputed | The buyer disputed the charge with their bank; respond in Stripe | Yes | | Failed | The card was declined | No | | Canceled | The payment was cancelled before it completed | No | If Stripe is briefly unreachable during a payment, the order stays **Pending** rather than failing, and settles on its own as soon as Stripe confirms what happened. ## Refund an order 1. Open the order in soFunnels to find the customer and the amount. 2. Open your Stripe dashboard, find the payment and press **Refund**. Choose a full or partial amount. 3. soFunnels receives the refund from Stripe and updates the order to **Refunded** or **Partial refund**, and your revenue goes down by the refunded amount. ## Disputes If a buyer disputes a charge with their bank, the order shows **Disputed**. Respond to the dispute in your Stripe dashboard, where you can upload evidence such as the order details and your delivery emails. > **Tip:** clear checkout copy, a confirmation page that says exactly what was bought, and receipts by email prevent most disputes. ## Export your orders On the Orders page, filter by status or search for a customer, then press the export button to download the orders you see as a CSV file for your spreadsheet or accounting tool. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why is an order Pending? The buyer opened the payment but did not finish, or their bank has not confirmed it yet. Pending orders never count as revenue. ### Can I refund from inside soFunnels? Refunds are issued in your Stripe dashboard, where the money is. soFunnels picks up the refund automatically within moments. ### Do declined upsells appear as orders? An attempted upsell that was declined by the bank shows as Failed and never counts towards revenue. --- # Send automated follow-up emails Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/email-automation Last updated: 2026-10-05 Funnel emails send themselves after a sign-up or a purchase. Connect your own email sending account once under **Settings > Email Sending**, then add **Email Automation** steps to your funnel and write each email in the drag-and-drop email editor. Add waits between emails to build a sequence. Visitors are never held up: they move on to the next page while emails go out in the background. - **Plan:** Basic or Pro - **You need:** An email sending account, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Postmark - **Where:** Settings > Email Sending, then Email Automation steps on the flow builder ## Connect your email sending account soFunnels sends funnel emails through your own email account rather than a shared server. Your emails come from your own domain, land in the inbox more often, and build your own sender reputation. 1. Open **Settings** in the top bar and choose **Email Sending**. 2. Under **Quick setup**, pick your provider (Gmail or Google Workspace, Outlook or Microsoft 365, SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Postmark) to fill in the server details. For any other provider, type the details your provider gives you. 3. Enter the username and the password or API key, then the **From Email** and **From Name** your leads will see. 4. Press **Save SMTP Settings**. 5. Type your own address under **Send test to** and send a test. A successful test confirms the whole connection works. > **Tip:** a dedicated sending service such as SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Postmark reaches the inbox far more reliably than a personal mailbox. Send from an address on a domain you own, and add the SPF and DKIM records your provider gives you. > **Good to know:** your sending password is encrypted before it is stored and is only used at the moment an email is sent. ## Add an email to your funnel 1. On the flow builder, add an **Email Automation** step and connect it after the page that should trigger it, such as your opt-in page or checkout. The line is dashed, which means it runs in the background. 2. Select the email and press **Edit Email in Builder**. 3. Write the **Email Subject**, then build the body from a template or from blocks: text, images, buttons, columns and dividers. 4. Insert personal details from **Funnel Variables**, such as the person's first name or what they bought. 5. Connect the email to the page its button should open. The line is dotted and labelled "Email button". 6. Publish the funnel. From then on, every new lead or buyer gets the email automatically. ## Personalise with variables | Variable | Becomes | | --- | --- | | {{first_name}} | The person's first name | | {{name}} | Their full name | | {{email}} and {{phone}} | Their email address and phone number | | {{product_name}} | What they bought | | {{order_total}} and {{order_id}} | The order amount and reference | | {{funnel_name}} | The name of your funnel | | {{date}} and {{year}} | Today's date and the current year | Click a variable in the email editor to insert it where your cursor is. ## Build a sequence Chain emails with **Delay / Wait** steps between them: email one straight away, wait one day, email two, wait two days, email three. Add a **Condition** to stop the sequence for people who already bought, or to send a different email to people who clicked. [Conditions and delays](https://sofunnels.com/guide/conditions-splits-and-delays). The email button's page and the follow-up sequence are separate, so one email can open a page and still lead on to the next email in the sequence. ## How email buttons get their links A button set to open the **Connected step** gets your live page address at the moment the email is sent, so it always points at the right page, even after you change your funnel's address. If no page is connected, the button is sent without a link rather than pointing somewhere wrong, and soFunnels warns you before you publish. ## Unsubscribes, retries and clicks - **Unsubscribe link:** every funnel email carries one automatically, and people who unsubscribe are never emailed again by your funnels. - **Retries:** if your mail server refuses an email, soFunnels tries again after 5, 30 and 120 minutes before marking it failed, so a short outage does not lose a message. - **Click tracking:** clicks on links are recorded, so you can branch on "Clicked an email link" and see which emails work. ## Write emails with AI The AI assistant in the email editor drafts subject lines and body copy, shortens long emails and adds a P.S. Ask the [Funnel Architect](https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-funnel-builder) to "Add a 3-email follow-up after the opt-in" and it builds the whole sequence for you to review. ## Frequently asked questions ### Why do I need my own email sending account? Sending from your own account and domain means your emails are trusted by inboxes, your reputation is yours alone, and nobody else's sending can hurt your delivery. ### Can I use my Gmail address? Yes, through Google Workspace or Gmail's mail server settings, but a personal mailbox has daily sending limits. For more than a few dozen emails a day, use a sending service such as SendGrid, Mailgun, Amazon SES or Postmark. ### Does sending an email slow down my funnel? No. The visitor goes straight to the next page; emails are sent after the page has already loaded for them. ### Can I send a one-off broadcast to my whole list? Funnel emails are automated: they go to each person when they reach that point in your funnel. For one-off newsletters, export your contacts to your newsletter tool, or send them there automatically with a [webhook](https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks). --- # Capture leads and manage contacts Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/leads-and-contacts Last updated: 2026-10-05 Every opt-in, application and quiz form saves the person as a contact, with their answers and the funnel they came from. Find them on the **Contacts** page, read individual answers on **Submissions**, and export either to CSV at any time. Lead capture works on every plan, including Free. - **Plan:** Every plan, including Free - **Where:** Contacts and Submissions in the top navigation - **Export:** CSV, at any time ## Build an opt-in or application form 1. Open an **Opt-in / Landing** or **Application / Booking** page in the page builder. It already has a form. 2. Select the form and press **Edit Form**. 3. Add the fields you need. Keep opt-in forms short: an email, and perhaps a first name. 4. Choose what happens after submission: go to the next funnel step, open a custom link, or show a confirmation message in place. Available fields: short text, long text, email, phone, number, website, date, dropdown, single choice, multiple choice, consent checkbox and hidden value. The conditional logic builder can show or hide a field based on an earlier answer. > **Tip:** every extra field costs sign-ups. Ask for more on an application page, where answers help you qualify people, and less on an opt-in page. ## Your contacts The **Contacts** page lists everyone who gave you their details, once per email address, even if they signed up in several funnels. For each contact you see their details, the funnels they arrived from and their form answers. - Search by name or email. - Filter by funnel to see the leads from one campaign. - Open a contact to see their full record and every submission. ## Submissions The **Submissions** page shows each form in your funnels and the individual answers it captured, including typed quiz answers. Open the step a form lives on, or see every submission from one person. ## Export contacts and submissions On the Contacts or Submissions page, apply any search or funnel filter you want, then press the export button. You get a CSV file with exactly what you see, ready for a spreadsheet, a newsletter tool or a CRM. Your audience is yours, on every plan. ## Spam protection Forms are protected against bots automatically, without a puzzle for real people to solve. Submissions that arrive impossibly fast, fill in hidden trap fields, or flood in from one address are refused. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is there a limit on how many contacts I can store? No contact limit applies on any plan. Your plan limits page views and funnels, not the size of your list. ### Can I send leads to my CRM or newsletter tool automatically? Yes. Add a **Send data to...** step after your form to forward every new lead to Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM. [Webhook guide](https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks). ### Can the same person sign up twice? Yes, and they remain one contact. Each new submission is added to their record. --- # Send leads and orders to Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks Last updated: 2026-10-05 A **Send data to...** step forwards details from your funnel to another app the moment something happens: a form is submitted, an order is paid or an upsell is accepted. Paste the webhook address from Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM into the step, send test data, and publish. From then on, every new lead or sale reaches your other tools automatically. - **Works with:** Zapier, Make, n8n, and any CRM or app that accepts webhooks - **Sends:** Form submissions, paid orders and accepted upsells - **Where:** Send data to... step on the flow builder ## Connect an app 1. In Zapier, Make, n8n or your CRM, create a new automation that starts with a webhook ("Catch Hook" in Zapier, "Custom webhook" in Make, "Webhook" in n8n). Copy the address it gives you. 2. In soFunnels, add a **Send data to...** step after your form or checkout on the flow builder. 3. Select the step, choose your app, and paste the address. 4. Press **Send Test Data** so your app receives an example and you can map its fields. 5. Publish the funnel. Check **Delivery History** on the step to see every delivery and whether it succeeded. ## What gets sent | Event | Sent when | Includes | | --- | --- | --- | | form_submitted | A visitor submits a form or quiz | Their contact details and answers, the funnel and step, and the ad source (UTM tags) | | order_paid | A checkout payment succeeds | The buyer, the product, order bumps, amount, currency, order number and ad source | | upsell_accepted | A buyer accepts a one-click upsell | The buyer, the upgrade order, the amount and the original order | Popular uses: add new leads to a newsletter tool, create a deal in your CRM, post new sales to a team chat, add a row to a spreadsheet, or send an order to your fulfilment service. ## Optional security key If the receiving app can check signatures, enter a **Security Key**. soFunnels then signs every delivery, so your app can prove a message really came from your funnel. Leave it blank if you do not need it. > **Good to know:** for developers: each delivery is an HTTPS POST with a JSON body and an X-Funnel-Event header. With a key set, X-Funnel-Signature carries "sha256=" followed by the HMAC-SHA256 of the raw body using your key. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do I need a paid Zapier or Make account? Webhook triggers are a paid feature on some Zapier plans. Make and n8n include webhooks on their free tiers. Check your tool's current plans. ### Can I send data to more than one app? Yes. Add as many Send data steps as you need, each with its own address. ### What if my app is down when a lead arrives? The delivery and its result are recorded in Delivery History, so you can spot a failure and act on it. The lead itself is always saved in your soFunnels contacts. --- # Connect your AI assistant to soFunnels Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/ai-assistant-connector Last updated: 2026-10-05 You can connect an AI assistant that supports custom connectors to your soFunnels workspace. Once connected, it can answer questions about your funnels, leads and orders, and build draft funnels, pages and emails for you. It works on every plan, including Free, and you can disconnect it at any time. - **Plan:** Every plan, including Free - **Where:** Account > Connected Apps - **Works with:** AI assistants that support custom connectors (the open MCP standard) ## Connect your assistant 1. In soFunnels, open the account menu, choose **Account**, and find **Connected Apps**. Copy the connector address shown there. 2. In your AI assistant's settings, add a custom connector and paste the address. 3. Your assistant opens a soFunnels sign-in page. Sign in and approve the access it asks for. 4. Back in your assistant, ask something like "How did my funnels do this week?" ## What your assistant can do - **Report:** a workspace overview, a single funnel's step-by-step numbers, recent contacts, form submissions and orders. Revenue counts only collected money. - **Build drafts:** create a funnel with every step in order, add, update, connect or remove steps, and write pages and emails. - **Publish, when you say so:** your assistant should ask you before publishing, and publishing runs the same checks as the studio. Try asking: "Which step of my webinar funnel loses the most people?", "Build a lead magnet funnel for my free meal plan with a 3-email follow-up", or "Rewrite the headline on my sales page to be more specific". ## What it cannot do Some things stay in your hands on purpose. A connected assistant cannot: - Change checkout prices, payment settings or your Stripe connection. - Send emails or change your email sending account. - Delete funnels, contacts or orders. - Change your account settings or password. It can only see your own workspace, never anyone else's, and every change it makes is a draft until you publish. ## Disconnect an assistant Under **Account > Connected Apps**, press **Disconnect** next to the assistant. It loses access immediately. Changing or resetting your password also disconnects every assistant. ## Frequently asked questions ### Is my data safe with a connected assistant? Access is limited to your workspace and to what you approved. Your sign-in is never shared with the assistant, and you can revoke access in one click. ### Does it use my AI allowance? No. Your assistant does its own thinking; soFunnels only answers its questions and saves the drafts it creates. ### Which assistants work? Any assistant or app that supports custom connectors using the Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for connecting assistants to other software. --- # Publish your funnel and share it Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/publish-and-share Last updated: 2026-10-05 Everything you change in soFunnels is a draft. When you are ready, press **Publish funnel**, review the list of what will change, and press **Publish changes**: visitors see the new version immediately. Share the funnel with its link, or on Basic and Pro, from your own subdomain such as yourname.sofunnels.com. Every publish is kept in history, so you can bring back an earlier version at any time. - **Plan:** Every plan; your own subdomain needs Basic or Pro - **Hosting and SSL:** Included - **Your own domain name:** Not available yet ## Publish your funnel 1. On the flow builder, press **Publish funnel** at the top right. After the first publish, the button reads **Review & publish** whenever you have unpublished changes. 2. Read the list of additions, edits and removals that will go live, and check the **Funnel Start URL**. 3. Press **Preview draft** to click through the new version first, if you like. 4. Press **Publish changes**. Visitors see the new version immediately. > **Good to know:** the draft preview is read-only: forms, emails and payments are switched off there, so testing it never creates a fake lead or order. ## What stops a publish soFunnels refuses to publish a funnel that would leave a visitor stuck, and tells you exactly what to fix: - **A page missing its goal**, such as a checkout page with no checkout or an opt-in page with no form. soFunnels offers to add it back for you. - **An External Page step with no valid link.** Enter a full address starting with https://. - **A page whose only way onward is an email button.** Connect it to a next page, so visitors are never left waiting for an email to continue. It also warns you about softer problems, such as an email button that is not connected to any page. ## Share your funnel Press **Share & Drive Traffic** on the flow builder or on your funnels list and use **Copy Link**. Put the link in your social profiles, ads, emails and posts. > **Tip:** add UTM tags to every link you share, such as ?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=spring-launch, so your [analytics](https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-analytics) can show which post or ad brought each lead and sale. ## Your funnel's address - **Free:** an automatic page address on sofunnels.com, such as sofunnels.com/p/free-guide. - **Basic and Pro:** your own subdomain, with clean page addresses you choose, such as yourname.sofunnels.com/free-guide. > **Good to know:** a few addresses, such as /login, /register, /dashboard and /account, always open the soFunnels sign-in and account screens, so your pages cannot use them. A page whose title would give it one gets a number added instead, such as /login-1. Addresses like /privacy, /terms, /contact and /pricing are yours to use. ### Claim your subdomain 1. Open **Settings** in the top bar and choose **Custom Domain**. 2. Type the name you want: 3 to 40 lowercase letters or numbers, with single hyphens between words. 3. Press **Claim Address & Activate**. 4. Under **Default Opening Page (Root URL)**, choose the published page people see when they visit the address on its own, and save. From then on, your previews and share links use your subdomain automatically. Connecting a domain you already own, such as yourbusiness.com, is not available yet; it is being built and will not cost extra. ## Undo, history and recovery - **Discard unpublished changes** throws away your draft and returns to what is live. - **Publishing history** lists every publish. Restoring a version loads it into your draft, keeping your current draft as a recovery copy, and nothing changes for visitors until you publish again. - **Deleted funnels** stay in the trash for 30 days, where you can restore them. > **Good to know:** restoring a version changes pages and settings only. It never undoes payments, orders, contacts or emails already sent. ## Visitors in the middle of your funnel Publishing never disrupts someone who is already moving through your funnel. A visitor who opened a checkout keeps the price and terms they saw for up to four hours, even if you change them, and people waiting for a delayed email keep their timers. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do edits go live as soon as I save? No. Saving keeps a draft. Visitors only see changes after you publish. ### Can I take a funnel offline? Move the funnel to the trash to take it down. You can restore it from the trash for 30 days. ### Why does my free funnel show a soFunnels badge? Free funnels carry a small "Built with soFunnels" badge. It is removed on Basic and Pro. ### Can guests publish? No. If you started building before signing up, create a free account to publish. Everything you built stays with you. --- # Track ads with Meta Conversions API, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/ad-tracking Last updated: 2026-10-05 Connect your ad accounts once under **Settings > Ad Tracking & CAPI**, and every funnel reports leads, checkouts and purchases to Meta and Google from soFunnels' servers as well as from the visitor's browser. The two are matched so nothing counts twice, and sales still reach your ad accounts when a browser blocks tracking. Microsoft Clarity adds free session recordings and heatmaps. - **Plan:** Basic or Pro - **Where:** Settings > Ad Tracking & CAPI - **Events sent:** Lead, InitiateCheckout and Purchase (generate_lead, begin_checkout and purchase in Google) ## Why server-side tracking matters Ad platforms learn who to show your ads to from the conversions you report. Browser pixels miss conversions whenever a visitor uses an ad blocker or strict privacy settings, so your ads optimise on incomplete data. soFunnels also reports each lead and purchase directly from its servers, and gives both copies the same event ID so the ad platform counts it once. Events carry the details platforms use to match a conversion to an ad click, such as the click ID from the ad link and, where available, the visitor's email and phone, which are hashed before they are sent. ## Connect Meta (Facebook and Instagram ads) 1. In Meta Events Manager, open your dataset (pixel) and copy its ID. 2. In the same dataset, open **Settings**, find **Set up Conversions API** and generate an access token. 3. In soFunnels, open **Settings > Ad Tracking & CAPI**, paste the **Meta Pixel / Dataset ID** and the access token, and save. 4. Press **Test Meta CAPI Connection** to confirm Meta accepts your events. ## Connect Google Analytics 4 1. In Google Analytics, open **Admin > Data Streams** and select your web stream. 2. Copy the **Measurement ID** (it starts with G-). 3. In the same stream, open **Measurement Protocol API secrets**, create a secret and copy its value. 4. Paste both into **Settings > Ad Tracking & CAPI** in soFunnels, save, and press **Test Google Connection**. > **Tip:** mark purchase and generate_lead as key events in Google Analytics, then import them into Google Ads to use them for bidding. ## Add Microsoft Clarity recordings and heatmaps Microsoft Clarity is a free tool that records visitor sessions and shows click and scroll heatmaps, so you can watch where people hesitate. Create a project in Clarity, copy its project ID from the project settings (8 to 12 letters and numbers), paste it into soFunnels and press **Validate Clarity Key**. Recordings start on every funnel page right away. ## Check that it works The bottom of the tracking screen lists the most recent conversions soFunnels sent to Meta and Google. Submit your own opt-in form or make a test purchase, and the events appear there and in each platform's event testing view within moments. ## Frequently asked questions ### Do I still need to install the Meta pixel on my pages? No. Once your dataset ID is saved, soFunnels runs the browser pixel and the Conversions API together on every funnel page. ### Will purchases count twice? No. The browser and server copies of each event share one event ID, and Meta and Google use it to count the conversion once. ### Can I track TikTok or other ad platforms? Server-side reporting covers Meta and Google. For other platforms, tag your ad links with UTM parameters so soFunnels attributes leads and sales to them in your analytics, or forward conversions with a [webhook](https://sofunnels.com/guide/zapier-make-webhooks). --- # Read your funnel analytics Source: https://sofunnels.com/guide/funnel-analytics Last updated: 2026-10-05 soFunnels shows where your funnel wins and where it leaks. The dashboard gives the big picture: visitors, leads, sales and revenue, plus a live map of who is on your pages right now. Each funnel's analytics break that down by step, by traffic source and by ad campaign. Revenue only ever counts money you actually collected. - **Plan:** Every plan; Basic and Pro include full analytics and advanced UTM attribution - **Where:** Dashboard, and Funnel Analytics on each funnel - **Date ranges:** Last 7, 30, 90 or 365 days ## The dashboard - **Funnel performance:** page views and unique visitors per day, and completed order value per day. - **Where your traffic comes from:** visits grouped into channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, YouTube, TikTok and email. - **Busiest steps:** the pages that get the most traffic in the period. - **Live audience:** a map of visitors seen in the last 5 or 30 minutes, by approximate country. - **Live sales pulse:** the newest leads and sales as they arrive. ## A funnel's report Open a funnel and press **Funnel Analytics**, or choose a funnel on the Analytics page. You see: - **Drop-off waterfall:** how many visitors reach each step and how many leave between steps. - **Step-by-step breakdown:** page views, unique visitors, conversion rate, revenue and earnings per visitor for every step. - **Traffic channels and referrers:** which sites and platforms send visitors. - **Ad and UTM attribution:** leads and purchases by campaign, ad creative and search keyword. - **Leads and purchases:** each one with the source that brought it. - **Next actions:** suggestions drawn from your own numbers about what to fix first. Select any step on the flow builder to open its own analytics, including the most clicked elements on the page and where those clicks led. Email steps show how many people received them and how many clicked. ## How to read the numbers 1. **Find the biggest drop-off.** The step where the most people leave is usually the best one to work on first. 2. **Compare sources, not just totals.** A channel that sends fewer visitors but more buyers deserves more of your budget. 3. **Watch earnings per visitor.** Revenue divided by visitors tells you what each click is worth, which is the most you can pay for one and still profit. 4. **Change one thing at a time.** Use a [Traffic Split](https://sofunnels.com/guide/conditions-splits-and-delays) to test a new headline or offer against the current one. ## What counts as revenue Revenue includes only orders where money was collected: paid, processing and disputed orders, minus any refunds. Abandoned checkouts, declined cards and cancelled payments never count, and neither do declined upsells. A free order still counts as an order, with no revenue. ## Tag your links for better attribution soFunnels groups traffic automatically, so "fb", "facebook.com" and "meta" all count as Facebook. For campaign-level detail, add UTM tags to your ad and post links: utm_source (the platform), utm_medium (such as paid or social), utm_campaign (the campaign name) and utm_content (the ad or creative). ## Frequently asked questions ### Are my own visits counted? No. Visits from your own browser while you are signed in to soFunnels are left out of your page views. ### Why does Stripe show a different total? Stripe shows every payment, including ones made outside your funnels and before refunds. soFunnels counts only funnel orders, net of refunds. ### How soon do numbers update? Visits, leads and sales appear within moments. The live audience map refreshes continuously.
